The 'SURE STEP' matting range is produced from grease resistant, resilient rubber compounds and is designed to reduce fatigue while providing increased safety in hard floor commercial applications such as restaurant and hotel kitchens. The mats are easily cleaned, and the M31 and M32 mats can be connected by interlocking edges to increase the total surface area. 'SURE STEP' M16 matting also provides non-slip impact absorbing safety when used beneath and adjacent to school and playground equipment. The M16 has been tested by the DSIR and conforms to the impact test requirements of NZ Standard code NZS5828; Specifications for Playground and Playground equipment. Test results have established that 'SURE STEP' M16 matting can safely absorb impact to a critical drop height level of 1.7 metres on soil and 3.5 metres on a bark chip substrate.
