Dairy rubber compounds used by Skellerup have been approved for food use by international authorities, including the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) and FDA, US Federal Drug Administration.
Skellerup has an ongoing research and development programme. All products are regularly tested for a wide range of factors including ozone resistance and flex cracking, modulus and memory. Skellerup have developed unique rubber formulations specifically designed for use on the dairy farm, offering the balance of long life and milkability. All rubber mixing and moulding is done in-house to ensure total control over the manufacturing process.
Skellerup has a specialist team of chemists, design engineers and toolmakers to develop product to specifically meet customers’ needs. All mould development and tooling is completed internally to guarantee security of design for our customers.
